Inpatient and Outpatient Treatment Options

While it is highly recommended that those with significant mental health concerns fully commit to their care by attending an inpatient program, outpatient and partial hospitalization options are available.

Pine Grove’s Adult Psychiatric Partial Hospitalization Program provides a highly structured, short-term approach to mental health treatment, combining many of the benefits of inpatient care with the flexibility to live at home. The recommended length of stay ranges from one week to three weeks, depending on individual patient care needs.

Adult psychiatric outpatient services at Pine Grove allow a flexible schedule for clients, who are still able to live at home while receiving treatment. These outpatient services include:

Assessment
Comprehensive assessment is provided by our dedicated psychiatrists and psychologists for a range of disorders including depression, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and more.

Medication Management
When appropriate, we prescribe and monitor medications to treat the symptoms of a variety of disorders.

Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is offered by licensed psychologists and licensed clinical social workers to address issues of the mind and body.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Pine Grove’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a 10-week long program that offers a lower level of care for the primary treatment of substance abuse disorders.

Marital and Family Therapy
Marital and Family therapy is also provided by our staff of licensed psychologists and licensed clinical social workers.

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
The Medication Assisted Treatment program includes individual evaluations and medication management under the direction of Dr. Charles Richardson, a board certified psychiatrist, who is fellowship trained in Addiction Psychiatry. Additionally, the program offers day and nighttime weekly group therapy sessions that are facilitated by a licensed clinical psychologist or clinical therapist. The MAT program at Pine Grove also includes a Nurse Practitioner, who works in collaboration with the treatment team.
