Depression Treatment

Depression Treatment

Depression is a serious medical condition. In contrast to the normal emotional experiences of sadness, loss, or passing mood states, clinical depression is persistent and can interfere significantly with a person’s ability to function.

Treatment for Depression

At Pine Grove Outpatient Services, patients with a Depressive Disorder see one of our psychiatrists or psychiatric nurse practitioners for evaluation and medication management. Patients also receive individual psychotherapy which is provided by individual therapists who are trained in the treatment of depression.
