Gary Roberson, MD
Dr. Roberson earned his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from William Carey University and his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He also completed his Psychiatry Residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He completed a Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) in evidence-based medicine, a Masters Status (MSc) in Experimental Therapeutics (Clinical Pharmacology), and a Diploma in Theological Studies from the University of Oxford, England. Additionally, Dr. Roberson completed a Rotary International Graduate Fellowship at the University of York, England. Dr. Roberson is a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, a member of the American Board of Medical Specialties and a lifetime member of the Oxford University Science Society, in addition to other memberships within the University of Oxford. Dr. Roberson also served as Chief Medial Director for MDB Behavioral Health in Brandon, MS., and joined the Pine Grove Behavioral Health & Addiction Services’ team as Medical Director in 2018. At Pine Grove, Dr. Roberson oversees the clinical and operational decisions pertaining to the organization’s medical staff and nurse practitioners. Dr. Roberson was also featured on the cover of Top 100 Magazine’s Summer 2018 issue, which highlighted the Top 100 Doctors in America.
Shelton Allison, MD
Dr. Shelton Allison is a licensed psychiatrist at Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services. He attended Jackson State University and graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 2006. Dr. Allison completed his residency program at Medical College of Virginia and joined the Pine Grove staff in 2010.
Siddeeqah Bilal, MD
Dr. Siddeeqah Bilal earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Tougaloo College in Tougaloo, MS., and her Masters of Public Health degree in Epidemiology from The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. She is a graduate of The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS., where she also completed her Psychiatry Residency. Dr. Bilal is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the Mississippi Psychiatric Association, and the National Association of Mental Illness. Dr. Bilal was also a Maternal and Child Health Research Fellow through the Association of Schools of Public Health (ASPH), and was placed with the Mississippi State Department of Health in Jackson, MS., where she investigated the risk factors associated with sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), and determined barriers for preventative prenatal care in rural areas of North Mississippi. She is also a member of Postpartum Support International and is currently in the process of applying for National Perinatal Certification, which was established in 2018. Additionally, Dr. Bilal’s annual continual medical education credit trainings are tailored to perinatal psychopharmacology and therapy. Dr. Bilal joined the Pine Grove medical staff in 2018, where she treats adult patients within Pine Grove’s Outpatient Services Department.
Roopsi Bassi, MD
Dr. Bassi graduated from the Government Medical College and Hospital in Chandigarh, India and completed her residency at The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Dr. Bassi is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Mississippi Psychiatric Association. Dr. Bassi was previously a Junior Resident and Family Practitioner at the Government Medical College and Hospital in Chandigarh, India. She also completed a residency at Fortis Hospital Mohali in Punjab, India. Dr. Bassi joined the Pine Grove Behavioral Health & Addiction Services team in 2015 and primarily sees adult patients at Pine Grove’s Outpatient Services Department and provides psychiatric consultations at Forrest General Hospital.
Peter Kamp, MD
Dr. Kamp is a graduate of University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He completed the residency program at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C. in 1990 and a Consultation Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship in 1991. Dr. Kamp is board certified is a member of the American Medical Association. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. He joined the Pine Grove staff in 1991 and currently sees patients in an outpatient setting for assessment and medication management and serves as a Consultation Liaison Psychiatrist at Forrest General Hospital.
Deepak Khemka, MD
Dr. Deepak Khemka is board certified by American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Psychiatry and Sleep Medicine. He joined the Pine Grove medical staff in 2012. He completed his psychiatry residency in 2011, followed by one year full time fellowship in Sleep Medicine, at The University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Khemka also teaches third and fourth year medical students from William Carey University. Dr. Khemka currently works as a staff psychiatrist on the adult psychiatric unit at Pine Grove and see patients on an outpatient basis for sleep medicine evaluations and follow up. He is a member of American Psychiatric Association and American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
Manpreet Khemka, MD
Dr. Manpreet Khemka graduated from the Government Medical College in Aurangabad, India in 2004 and completed her residency at the University Of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Dr. Khemka joined Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services as a staff psychiatrist in 2014 and is a member of the American Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, American Psychiatric Association, and Mississippi Psychiatric Association. Dr. Khemka primarily sees patients on the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Unit located on Pine Grove’s main campus in Hattiesburg, MS.
James Marlowe, MD
Dr. James Marlowe graduated from The University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson, MS in 1996 and completed his residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Dr. Marlowe joined Pine Grove Behavioral Health and Addiction Services as a staff psychiatrist in 2000 and is a member of the American Medical Association, American Psychiatric Association, and Southern Medical Association. Dr. Marlowe primarily sees patients on the Adult Psychiatric Unit located on Pine Grove’s main campus in Hattiesburg, MS.
Thomas Miller, MD, FASAM
After serving in the United States Army for two years, Dr. Miller attended The University Of Southern Mississippi and graduated with highest honors with a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry. Dr. Miller subsequently earned a medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine. After completing a psychiatry residency at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, Dr. Miller finished a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Dr. Miller is board certified in psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and addiction medicine. Dr. Miller has additional training in hypnotherapy and eating disorders. He is certified in hypnosis by the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and is an associate of iaedp™ Institute on Eating Disorders. Dr. Miller is a fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
Chaz Richardson, DO
Dr. Charles “Chaz” Richardson is a graduate of The University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS where he also completed his psychiatry residency. Dr. Richardson completed his fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry at Emory University in Atlanta, GA and is a member of the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry, American Psychiatric Association, and Mississippi State Medical Association. Dr. Richardson joined the Pine Grove staff in 2018 and currently evaluates and treats adult patients for Pine Grove’s inpatient and residential treatment programs.
