How to send/receive mail and packages?
Mail can be sent to and from each program. Packages will be observed when opened and items not allowed will be
removed.

What are the personal phone call guidelines?
| Gentle Path | No phone calls during the first two weeks, with the exception of one phone call to family with the first 24 hours of arrival. After the two week restriction is lifted, residents are allowed three 15 minute calls per week. If the patient has small children, phone contact can be made with staff approval. | |
| Next Step | Upon arrival, patient allowed one phone call. During first two weeks, all phone requests must be approved by staff. Phone usage is limited on a daily basis. | |
| Women's Center | No calls during first 2 weeks with the exception of a call within the first 72 hours in the presence of a therapist. After 2 weeks patients are eligible for weekly phone privileges. | |
| PEP | Cell phones are permitted, but not allowed during the daily programming. Failure to adhere to this may result in loss of the use of a cell phone due to lack of the responsibility for itsmanagement. Apartments have telephones for local use only – calling card needed for long distance calls. | |

| Gentle Path | No Visitors before Family Week and thereafter with staff approval. Visiting hours – Saturday and Sunday 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (on campus only). | |

| PEP | Therapeutic leave or therapeutic visits can be requested after two weeks. | |

Can I have my car?

| Next Step | Limited driving privilege in Phase III, with proof of insurance, valid driver’s license and Treatment Team approval. | |
| PEP | Yes. PEP residents must provide their own transportation to and from treatment each day. During the first week the resident will be with another community member until orientation period ends. |
