Admissions
When you call the Pine Grove call center, you call will be received by a clinician. You will be asked for your name, address, phone number, relationship to the patient, service requested and referral source. If you are are interested in pursuing treatment, further information will be collected to include the potential patient’s demographic, and insurance information as well as a description of the problem behavior.
At this point insurance benefits may be verified and the insurance coordinator for the specific program can inform the patient of the financial obligation. If the potential patient is interested in pursing treatment, the clinician will conduct a clinical interview to screen for placement in the Pine Grove family of services. The interview will consist of questions regarding current medications, medical problems, legal issue, substance abuse, behaviors and stressors, history of treatment, sexual addiction/compulsivity, eating disorders and violence. Following the interview, the clinician will consult the appropriate physician and a recommendation will be given.
Specialty admissions staff will assist in providing information regarding items to being, nearby airports and other helpful information. If treatment in the Pine Grove family of services is not recommended a referral will be made to other possible facilities.
