Treatment Resistant Depression Group
Who is appropriate for the program?
Patients who experience any of the following:
- Chronic Depression
- Recurring Depression
- Depression not in remission with typical treatment
- Diagnoses of Major Depressive Disorder or Bipolar Disorder, depressed.
Medication
Patients must be seeing a physician for medication management.
What does the program consist of?
Group Therapy: 12 weeks, with two sessions a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays
from 9 am. until 10:30 a.m.

- Cognitive Therapy
- Increasing Activites
- Improving Relationship Skills
- Acceptance of the disease of depression
- Stigma Reduction
- Medication Compliance
Depression Anonymous (DA)
Patients must also attend a community 12-step support group for individuals
who are depression prone. DA meets once a week and is free.
Insurance Information
Many insurances accepted. Pine Grove Outpatient Services will glady verify
benefits for a potential participant prior to appointment or assist in payment
arrangements for those without insurance.
