Reintegration Program
What is the Reintegration Program?
The Reintegration Program is part education and part process group designed to help individuals make positive changes in their lives, process emotions and thoughts, and improve mood. The program respects and reinforces the therapies of the referring treatment programs. The Reintegration Program’s focus is on psychological intervention that will complement and supplement the relapse preventions principles already learned in referring programs.
The program focuses on the following areas:
- Being more aware and accepting of thoughts and feelings
- Learning strategies to regulate emotions
- Using a client’s values to set goals for activities
Who can benefit?
Individuals with a range of anxiety disorders, depression, and other mood and thought disorders under good control can benefit from this program. Clients who have active homicidal or suicidal urges that can’t be controlled, have current substance abuse, or who are actively psychotic are not appropriate for this program.
When and where does the Reintegration Program meet?
The program meets once a week for 1 ½ hours at the Lincoln Center.
Who will pay for the Reintegration Program?
Many private insurances pay for therapy services delivered by the Reintegration Program. Pine Grove Outpatient Services will gladly verify insurance benefits for a potential program participant and will assist in making payment arrangements for those without insurance benefits.
