Welcome to Pine Grove's Family of Services!
Pine Grove opened its doors in 1984. At that time we were a small inpatient facility nestled on 22 acres of pine trees. Among our initial services was an addiction unit specializing in the treatment of physicians. None of us who were there that day could have imagined the growth we've experienced.
As you view our website, you will learn about our programs and what we have to offer patients and family members. What you will not see is the heart of our organization - our staff. When I ask referents what sets us apart, they usually say two things:

Sanford named to National Board for Addiction Treatment Providers
Debbie Sanford, Chief Behavioral Health Services Officer for Forrest General Hospital, has been elected as a board member for The National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP).
The NAATP is a trade association that represents more than 275 of the best-known providers of addiction treatment in the United States and abroad. The organization’s mission is to promote, assist and enhance the delivery of ethical, effective, research-based treatment for alcoholism and other drug addictions. In doing this, the organization provides information and resources, advocates for access to and availability of quality treatment for those who suffer from these addictions and partners with other organizations who can help achieve the NAATP’s goals.
“I am delighted to be elected to the NAATP Board and to partner with other addiction treatment colleagues,” said Sanford.
“Pine Grove Behavioral Health & Addiction Treatment Center is dedicated to providing the highest quality addiction treatment and our affiliation with NAATP emphasizes our dedication to this endeavor.”
Sanford was elected to the position by ballot among all NAATP members, and will be a part of the class of 2014. Her three-year term of office will be completed with the organization’s annual conference in 2014. For more information on the NAATP, visit www.naatp.org.
