Mending a Shattered Heart: Healing for Partners of Sex Addicts

Mending a Shattered Heart is a three-day workshop for people who within the last year learned about their spouses’s addiction and who seek tools to guide them through the myriad of feelings and decisions they are confronting.

OBJECTIVES ARE:
- Identify losses
- Understand the Cycle of Addiction
- Understand and discuss cycle of co-addiction
- Understand trauma-related responses in living with a sex addict
- Define and set boundaries
- Finding self-care and renewal of your authentic self
- Finding your voice through identification of your feelings
- Learn plan of care to use for the next stage of recovery
- Understand betrayal and loss of self

DESIGNED FOR THOSE WHO:
- Are unable to move past the early trauma of the crisis
- Have learned about their spouse’s addiction within the last year
- Are “stuck” in the healing process
- Have recently learned their partner has relapsed and are confronting what to do going forward about the relationship
