Anthony Calabrese, Ph.D. Dr. Calabrese is the Director of Psychology and Therapy Services at Forrest General Hospital. He is a licensed psychologist who received his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1996. He completed his doctoral psychology internship at the VA Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Calabrese is listed in the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology and is a member of APA. As Director of Psychology Services, Dr. Calabrese is the administrator in charge of the internship for Pine Grove and he occasionally does supervision or seminars.

Geralyn Datz, Ph.D. Dr. Datz is a licensed psychologist who specializes in behavioral medicine. She provides consultation, psycho-education, group and individual treatment for medical conditions including pain, overweight, nicotine dependence, HIV, and diabetes. Intervention approaches include empirically validated therapies for chronic pain, weight management and smoking cessation, behavior change counseling, motivational interviewing, relaxation training and biofeedback. Dr. Datz also directs the Pain Management Program which uses cognitive-behavioral techniques to help manage and reduce chronic pain. Psychotherapy services include treatment of anxiety and mood disorders, including OCD, post traumatic stress, panic, depression and phobias. Dr. Datz conducts assessments including pre-surgical and pain evaluations, as well as psychological and personality testing. Dr. Datz received her doctorate from SUNY Stony Brook. She specialized in behavioral medicine during her doctoral psychology internship at New Orleans Veterans Affairs Medical Center and during her postdoctoral fellowship at Pennington Biomedical Research Center. Dr. Datz is available for consultation for the interns who have clients with behavioral medicine issues. |

Sharon DeBerry, LMFT Ms. DeBerry received her MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1993. She is licensed in MS as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Ms. DeBerry is the coordinator of Forrest County Child and Adolescent Services for Pine Belt. She also is the Project Director for CommUNITY Cares, a multi-million dollar grant to provide a system of coordinated, individualized care for children 10-18 affected by serious emotional disturbance or co-occurring SED and substance misuse in Forrest, Lamar, and Marion Counties. Ms. DeBerry works with interns while they are on the Child Adolescent Rotation by providing extra supervision, paperwork training, and orientation to working with children and families in a community mental health setting.

Mona Gauthier, MS, LPC Ms. Gauthier received her MS degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1991. She is a National Board Certified Counselor (NBCC) and a Mississippi Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). She is currently in USM’s MBA program. She has been the Director of Child & Adolescent Services for Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources since 1994, and is responsible for 170+ staff. She is a co-author and co-Project Investigator for the CommUNITY Cares System of Care Transformation initiative, a multimillion dollar initiative funded by SAMHSA that addresses the need of 10 to 18 year olds who have Serious Emotional Disorders and Substance Misuse issues and who reside in Forrest, Lamar, and Marion Counties. She is also an adjunct instructor for Pearl River Community College. As the Director of the Child and Adolescent Services at Pine Belt, Ms. Gauthier interacts with interns on the Child and Adolescent Rotation in staffings and handles administrative matters. |

Thomas Tullos, M.S., LPC Mr. Tullos is the Clinical Director of Gentle Path and serves as an adjunct supervisor to interns while they are on the Addictions Rotation. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Substance Abuse Counseling, both from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. Mr. Tullos is a Board Certified Substance Abuse Counselor as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor. Mr. Tullos is also a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist and CSAT Supervisor, and has worked extensively with person’s living with HIV and AIDS developing a dual diagnosis tract at the Med III Infectious Disease Clinic in Louisiana Region VIII. He is also a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Mississippi. |

Julia Brown, MS, LPC Ms. Brown received her MS in Counseling Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1990. She has worked at Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources for 18 years in several clinical roles. She currently coordinates the Crisis Response program with Pine Belt. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and provides supervision to other professionals seeking their LPC credential. She is also active in working with the interns while they are on the Child and Adolescent Rotation, giving supervision and training in the intake process. Ms. Brown is in the process of becoming an approved LPC supervisor which will be finalized in July 2008. She is on the board of the Mental Health Association and a member for the Mississippi Counseling Association. |

Leah Claire Bennett, Ph.D. Dr. Bennett is a licensed psychologist with the Professional Enhancement Program of Pine Grove Behavioral Health. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Baylor University in Waco, TX and her Masters and Doctorate degrees in Counseling Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS. Dr. Bennett currently works with professionals who are having vocational and relational issues, maladaptive personality problems, addiction, and sexual issues. She provides individual, group, and family therapy using a multi-modal approach which integrates biological, psychological, systematic, and addictive interventions. Dr. Bennett was an intern at SMPIC during the 2005-2006 intern year. She is an adjunct supervisor to interns when they are at PEP on the Addictions Rotation. |

Leah S. Levenson, PsyD Dr. Levenson is a licensed psychologist with Forrest General Hospital. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and completed her pre doctoral psychology internship at Applewood Centers, Inc. in Cleveland, Ohio. She has experience working with mental health agencies, private practice, and public school systems. Dr. Levenson has specialized training in the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and families as well as special education identification and programming. Furthermore, she has had intensive training in the identification of bipolar disorders in children and adolescents. Dr. Levenson work with children (ages 3-12), adolescents, and families with many different issues and concerns, such as depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, behavioral problems, parenting difficulties, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, pervasive developmental disorders, learning disorders, and school related problems. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and Mississippi Psychological Association. Dr. Levenson teaches the Assessment Seminar for the internship and is available for informal consultation on child and assessment cases. |
